Dr. Dongchui Li

- Ph.D., Senior Engineer, is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Huaantang Group and an industrial master’s supervisor at Zhejiang University.
- She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Delaware and has over 15 years of global experience in cosmetic and ingredient R&D. She previously served as a Senior Scientist at Lubrizol and L’Oréal USA, leading the commercialization of multiple innovative ingredients and international brand products.
- She has filed and received more than 70 domestic and international patents, published over 50 SCI papers and conference articles, and contributed to 2 books and 3 industry standards. -

Ms. Erica Liang

- The Lead of R&D Strategy and Operations for Unilever China, based in Shanghai. She oversees the strategic direction of the global R&D center and drives core capability building and cross-business innovation.
- Holding a Master’s degree from Zhejiang University, she has long led the development of end-to-end R&D systems—from fundamental science and mechanism discovery to engineering translation—and integrates these through a digital platform spanning consumer insights, formulation and packaging design, pilot-plant scale-up, and scientific substantiation. -

Dr. Haishan Zhao

- Dr. Haishan Zhao possesses a profound interdisciplinary background and a well-structured academic training path.
- His educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from South China University of Technology (2005–2009), laying a solid foundation in life sciences. He then pursued a Master's degree in Pharmacology (2009–2012) and a Ph.D. in Chinese Materia Medica (2012–2017) at Jinan University. During his doctoral studies, he participated in a joint training program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), conducting research in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology (2014–2016), which integrated cutting-edge scientific perspectives from both Eastern and Western contexts. After completing his Ph.D., he undertook postdoctoral research at Guangdong University of Technology (2017–2020), further enhancing his capabilities in scientific research translation.
- Currently, he serves as an Associate Researcher at Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, continuing his academic exploration, and has leveraged his research expertise to found Guangzhou Shanhai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. -

Mr. Jinhui Zuo

- Mr. Jinhui Zuo has been an IFSCC member since starting my career in 2019.
- His experience spans Pechoin, Unilever, and I am now the Scientific Communication Manager at Mageline.
-He has published 8 papers through consistent participation in IFSCC congress, won the 2021 Maison G de Navarre Young Scientist Award, and delivered a plenary speech at the 2025 ASCS Conference.
- As a China-SCC Committee member, he is actively involved in preparing for the 2027 ASCS Congress in Guangzhou and the 2032 IFSCC Congress. -

Dr. Ye Zhong

- Dr .Ye Zhong holds a Ph.D. from East China University of Science and Technology and was a joint Ph.D. student at The University of Texas at Austin. Currently serving as the Director of Scientific Communication at Shanghai Jahwa United Co., Ltd.,
- Dr. Zhong brings extensive research experience from globally leading consumer goods R&D systems and leading domestic cosmetics groups. She has long been engaged in fundamental research on efficacy-based skincare products, active ingredient development, and science communication related to dermatology.
- She has published multiple academic papers in international journals such as Nature Chemistry, holds several patents in the daily chemical field, and has contributed to the drafting of industry group standards. He is now a Senior Engineer, an editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Aesthetic Medicine and a youth editorial board member of Detergent & Cosmetics Science, a member of the Skin Chronic Disease and Health Management Branch of the China Anti-Aging Promotion Association, and an expert at the Science Alliance Think Tank. -

Ms. Susie Jin

- Susie works with Lubrizol global and regional multidisciplinary teams to investigate and allocate resources for new technologies and materials development for Beauty customers as Lubrizol Life Science APAC Technical Manager. She leads Lubrizol Beauty technical team in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Singapore, Seoul and Tokyo for new ingredient development, application study and technical service, formulation development and efficacy clinical research. In addition to her current role, Susie worked within Lubrizol company as a skincare application development Sr. scientist (2012 - 2018) and technical manager for North Asia (2018 – 2023). She has extensive knowledge and experience in skincare, active and personal care technology development and troubleshooting.
- Susie has 19 years working experience in Beauty Supplier Industry (since 2007), including 11 years as Beauty application development and technical service scientist and 8 years as Beauty technical manager. Prior to joining Lubrizol in 2012, Susie worked for BASF and Legacy Cognis Chemical company (Acquired by BSF) for Beauty technical position (2009 - 2012). -

Dr. Weisen Zhang

- Dr. Weisen Zhang is the R&D Director at Guangdong Kangrong Industrial and currently serve as the Head of Communications for China-SCC.
- He obtained my PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Monash University in Australia. His research focuses on functional cosmetic ingredients, transdermal delivery systems, nanocarriers, and skin-on-a-chip technologies. He is dedicated to transforming cutting-edge pharmaceutical science into practical innovations for the cosmetics industry and advancing high-performance skincare development across academia and industry. -

Dr. Amanda Wang

- Graduated from Université de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, France.
- Since 2017, she has held positions at Amway China and Symrise China, where she conducted fundamental skin science research. She specializes in studying the mechanisms of cosmetic active ingredients related to skin brightening, anti-aging, sensitivity, and microecology, as well as cosmetic efficacy evaluation. She later served as Senior Manager in the Medical Affairs Department at Johnson & Johnson China/Kenvue China, leading a team responsible for developing and promoting medical strategies in the Chinese market for skincare products and dermatological OTC drugs, including Daktarin, Pevisone, Aveeno Baby, Dr.Ci:Labo, and Dabao. Currently, she holds the position of Senior Manager in the Medical Affairs Department at Galderma China, where she leads a team overseeing the development and execution of medical strategies for dermatological prescription drugs and skincare products in China.
- She has contributed to over ten publications and expert consensus documents, both domestically and internationally. -

Dr. Hu Huang
Chair of the Organizing Committee
- Chief Scientific Officer of Pro'ya.
- He previously studied abroad on a government scholarship and obtained a Ph.D. degree. After returning to China, he served as a professor at Tsinghua University.
- He formerly held the position of Global Principal Scientist at the headquarters of P&G in the United States, serving the company for 27 years and applying for over 500 global patents. He led research and development in areas including beauty and cosmetics, personal care, fabric and home care, and oral care. He is proficient in formulating new product development strategies and intellectual property strategies, developing strategic ingredients and researching their mechanisms of action, developing formulations and manufacturing processes, efficacy evaluation, and consumer insight. He excels in the research, development, and commercialization of innovative ingredients and products. He collaborated with Tsinghua University to establish China's first open innovation platform integrating industry, academia, research, and medicine. He was one of the founders of the P&G Beijing R&D Center and a pioneer of "Open Innovation" there.
- In August 2021, he returned to China and assumed the role as CTO of Shanghai Jiahwa.
- Since October 2024, he has been serving as the Chief Scientific Officer of Pro'ya. -
